Nothing is more important to the Frontdesk family than the health and safety of our guests, our employees, and our multifamily communities. We are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely, and we would like to share the additional precautions that have been recently added, in addition to existing safeguards.
Flexible Cancellation Policy
When booking directly through our website or via Airbnb, Frontdesk has always had an extremely flexible cancellation policy. In the event that you need to change or cancel your trip due to COVID-19, our booking policy allows guests to cancel up to 24 hours before check-in and receive a full refund. Additionally, guests are able to book any of our units up until 7pm on the day of check-in for last-minute travel plans. For assistance with canceling or rescheduling your reservation, please call or text us at +1-414-240-2398.
Closely Monitoring Affected Service Areas
Following safety precautions, we have canceled bookings where the US State Department has issued travel restrictions, such as China, South Korea, and Italy. We are continuing to monitor and restrict bookings based on best practices as described by the latest CDC and the US State Department updates. Additionally, we are in contact with the CDC and local officials and have asked them to contact us if a previous guest contracts COVID-19.
Additional Cleanliness Precautions
We have always prided ourselves on our exceptionally high cleaning standards, which we credit to our in-house cleaning team of tenured W2 employees. We are now taking these standards even higher, including mandatory training and increased quality assurance programs, specifically as it relates to cleaning and disinfecting surfaces that are touched by our guests on a daily basis, like doorknobs, light switches, faucets, remotes, and more. Our staff has also been given specific instructions for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, as recommended by OSHA.
How You Can Stay Safe
There are steps you can take to reduce your risk of developing COVID-19, whether you are currently staying with us or plan to travel in the future. According to the CDC, the single best way to stay safe is to limit your exposure to it. Since this virus is primarily spread from person-to-person, avoid coming into contact with people who are sick. Wash your hands with soap and water frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time. You can also use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if you don’t have access to soap and water. Lastly, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
For guests with upcoming reservations, please be aware that many of our communities are temporarily closing their amenities. This includes, but is not limited to, pools, fitness centers, and clubhouses. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause to you and your experience staying with us.
